In the early 60’s our area supported various half mile flat track races and Dennis, Pap , and Nana could always be found in the stands. If you were into motorcycling in those days, motorcycle races were an important event you did not miss. Dennis’s love of racing began then. One would also find him riding his 1966 XL in field meets competitively: drag racing, jumping, and whatever skill was necessary to win the event. Dennis never raced professionally but when Billy Schaeffer of Pine Grove, National , number 96 , asked for support, here was Dennis’s chance to do the next best thing. Dennis’s support of racing grew from there. What better way to introduce young people into the support then to get them racing! Dennis enjoys supporting all types of racing.
Race Day is Dennis’s event. It his way of promoting the sport of motorcycling.

Currently our points standings are:
Bruce - 1st in HS and 3rd in SP
Brad - 3rd in ET, 3rd in SS, 4th in SE and 5th in SEP
Numidia, PA and Norwalk, OH were races 5 and 6 of the season, and they were also Hot Street wins 5 and 6. Both races were plagued with rain, but they managed to get them finished. I was the number one qualifier and class winner in the Hot Street class at both races. In Numidia I was the number four qualifier and finished with a semi-final round loss to eventual class winner, Charley Douglass. Then, in Norwalk, I qualified number three but finished the day early, with a troubled quarter-final round loss. Brad had decent outings at both races as well. Numidia saw him in the Semi-Finals of ET and the Quarter-Finals of SS, and Norwalk was even better with a Semi-Final in SS and Final round appearances in SE and SEP.
