I'd like you to join me as a member of our team.  WHEN WE RIDE, THEY HAVE HOPE!!!
Since 1988, Ride for Life has Raised over 26 Million Dollars.

Thanks for helping bring help and hope to families served by MDA!

For over 36 yrs., Schaeffer's Harley-Davidson® has dedicated time and efforts to raising money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA), in hopes of finding cures for the 43 neuromuscular diseases that MDA researches. Each year, since 1988, the dealership and their customers have made continuous efforts to collect money for the annual Ride for Life event. This event raises funds to help children who have Muscular Dystrophy, especially those in our local area.

MDA also sponsors a week-long, barrier-free summer camp for MDA clients aged 6-21. Camp is a tremendously loving and accepting place where MDA kids can just be kids. Activities include swimming in an accessible pool, playing sports with modified equipment, dancing, seeing concerts, participating in a talent show, and making arts and crafts. Each camper is placed with their own counselor to assist them with all aspects of daily living. Many MDA kids tell their counselors that camp is the best week of the year for them.

This camp is completely paid for by MDA,
and costs approximately $650 per camper.
